Photo report from design workshops for children, organized by nowymodel.org in Stary Browar in Poznań.

The first in a series of workshops for children took place on January 28th and 29th. They will be led by Cyryl Zakrzewski, a participant in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Japan, Italy, Slovenia, Austria), author of permanent installations in public spaces in cities including Poznań and Tokyo, and a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Actions at the University of Arts in Poznań.

Workshop participants created lamps from recycled paper.

When: January 28 (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.), January 29 (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
Location: Atrium +1
For whom: children from 5 years old, work in groups of up to 15 people.

A shelf with variable heights – designed in 1959 by Professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas, the late master of Polish design (artist, architect and furniture designer) was nominated by experts to participate in the competition for the best designed products and services on the Polish market Dobry Wzór 2016. The shelf was put into production by nowymodel.org 3 years ago.

Product from the "Icons of Polish Design" series.
Our collection of furniture designed by Professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas has expanded to include the IMUGO stool. It owes its name to its mature and refined form, yet at the same time as light as an insect's wings, subtle, and graceful. Working on it was a pleasure. Thank you, Master!
IMUGO stools vary in frame and seat colors. The frame is available in two colors: white and natural beechwood. The seats will be available in natural veneer, white, and celadon.
Stools Covered with natural chestnut veneer, they vary in shade and grain. Wood is beautiful because it is variable.
nowymodel.org is the first to share the designs.

KAL swivel chair designed by Aleksander Kuchma

 

The KAL swivel chair designed by Aleksander Kuchma in 1979 was prototyped at OBROM in the late 1970s in several material versions.

Since January 2013, the nowymodel.org team, together with Professor Aleksander Kuczma, has been developing new technology for the KAL chair.

The product will be launched in late 2013 and will be available at www.nowymodel.org.
