Wystawa „DOSTRZEŻ DESIGN!” dostępna w Galerii Polskie Meble w Poznaniu to ekspozycja poświęcona historii polskiego designu od lat 50 XX wieku po czasy współczesne.
Do pokazania na naszej wystawie wybraliśmy przykłady najbardziej charakterystycznych mebli, w których autorzy najlepiej zapisali zmiany mód i tendencji projektowych. To słynne siedziska autorstwa profesorów: Wojciecha Hory, Rajmunda Teofila Hałasa, Romana Modzelewskiego, Józefa Chierowskiego, Bogusławy i Czesława Kowalskich, Teresy
Kruszewskiej, Marii Chomentowskiej, a także Romualda Ferensa, Edmunda Homy, Stanisława Figla, czy najmłodszego w tym gronie – Cyryla Zakrzewskiego.

SEE DESIGN is primarily an educational endeavor.

Our goal is to popularize the achievements of important figures in Polish design, with an emphasis on the role of outstanding people from Greater Poland.

With each passing year, Polish design becomes more recognizable and appreciated internationally,
Poland is the second-largest furniture exporter in Europe. The history of Polish design is defined by the works of outstanding artists whose designs have achieved the status of design icons and, above all, have become everyday objects in thousands of Polish homes.
We have selected examples of the most characteristic furniture in which the authors best recorded the changes in fashion.

These are the famous seats designed by professors: Wojciech Hora, Rajmund Teofil Hałas, Roman Modzelewski, Józef Chierowski, Bogusława and Czesław Kowalski, Teresa Kruszewska, Maria Chomentowska, as well as Romuald Ferens, Edmund Homa, Stanisław Figel, and the youngest in this group – Cyryl Zakrzewski.

Beautiful things happened at the workshops held during the SEE DESIGN exhibition!

Both the younger and older ones created individual visions, which were then placed on lamp models created by nowymodel.org
Each participant had the opportunity to become a designer! They created a lampshade structure, which they then decorated according to their own ideas and skills.

To the permanent collection Silesian Museum in Katowice
a chair designed by Cyryl Zakrzewski was received

DUNE is the work of a Poznań sculptor and designer Cyryl Zakrzewski.

This original and comfortable chair is also a remarkable sculptural object. The artist was inspired by sand dunes, gentle curves, and the sense of movement created by the perpetually flowing sand. Translated into the realm of applied art, the result is an exceptionally interesting and decorative object that will add a unique character to any space.
