Is it possible that such a piece of furniture was created almost 60 years ago? Yes, because it was created by a master, a visionary designer, Rajmund Teofil Hałas.
The VARIABLE HEIGHT SHELVING, designed in 1959, is now available for purchase. Visit our online store at www.nowymodel.org. Easy to assemble, it leaves room for the user's imagination to define its final size and shape, adapting to the size and style of the interior, innovative in design, and eco-friendly.

Kasia is a professor at the University of Arts in Poznań, a designer, and a curator of numerous exhibitions promoting Polish design in Poland and abroad.
For 12 years, he has been running his own program at UAP – the PE-P Educational Programs and Industry Collaboration Workshop. To this day, it remains one of the most innovative models for educating future designers.

Design VARIABLE HEIGHT SHELVES It was created by the outstanding Polish designer Rajmund T. Hałas, professor at the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts, in 1959.
For over half a century, the furniture industry has underestimated its benefits. We recently discovered a prototype in the author's family collection and put it into production. Finally, you can enjoy this unique piece of furniture in your homes.

The exhibition "Greater Poland's Tradition of Furniture Design" runs until September 15 as part of the Wawa Design Festival.
nowymodel.org is a partner of the exhibition. We are presenting 10 objects, furniture, and lamps made in our workshops. You'll see, among others, Rajmund T. Hałas's VARIABLE HEIGHT SHELVES from 1959 and RED-WHITE-BLACK chairs from the 1960s, Wojciech Hora's STUDENT WORKSPACE from 1987, and his SECRETARY designed especially for Tina Turner. We recommend viewing Michał Kowalski's COSY felt lamps and Kasia Laskowska's PULT chest of drawers for two.
