Exhibition "MIRACLE HONEY ULTRAMARINE" by Cyryl Zakrzewski

I cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition

„"Miracle, Honey, Ultramarine" is a monographic survey of Cyryl Zakrzewski's recent works. Each of the sculptural forms presented in the exhibition is made of wood and symbolically marked with plastic, a human imprint on the natural raw material. Just as civilization does in nature, elements of synthetic ultramarine permeate the structure of natural wood.

The exhibition's title, "The Miracle of Honey Ultramarine," suggests a symbolic shift. For centuries, ultramarine was a pigment reserved for the sacred, synonymous with divinity and humility. As a mineral pigment, it was originally obtained from the precious stone lapis lazuli, which Venetian merchants began importing to Europe in the 14th century. In the early 19th century, the possibility of synthetically producing ultramarine was discovered, and it has become one of the most popular coloring agents today.

The exhibition is a dialogue between old craftsmanship and a contemporary approach to design, which is reflected in the seven functional sculptures presented.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on November 16 at 6:00 p.m.

We organize curatorial tours after prior email contact (info@nowymodel.org).

The exhibition was realized as part of a creative scholarship from the budget of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

The steering wheel is in your hands

We put you in charge, help you regain independence and improve your quality of life!

On January 27, the Nowymodel Foundation launched a social project to improve the lives of seniors in Suchy Las.

As part of the "Steering Wheel in Your Hands" initiative, people aged 60+ who have a driving license but have given up driving for various reasons can return to participating in road traffic.

The project's animators – Julia and Martyna – emphasize that driving a vehicle is not only convenient, but also important and useful in everyday life, and that people who take the wheel in their own hands can improve the quality of not only their lives, but also help their loved ones and neighbors.

During the first meeting, registered participants attended theoretical classes – a lecture by an experienced instructor from Poznań's OSK Szerokości driving school, and therapist Sebastian Szczepanowski discussed driving-related fears and internal resistance. Participants could then delve deeper into these topics during exercises.

We thank everyone who attended, and we look forward to the next steps. We were delighted to see the commitment of all the participants.
