Michał Kowalski

"My latest projects are aimed at people who love wind, water and... interesting ideas.

Designer of furniture, exhibition stands, interiors and graphics. He experiments with textile furniture, organic forms, hi-tech materials, sewing and combining different materials used in sailing, windsurfing, aviation...

He graduated from the Faculty of Interior and Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. For several years he cooperated with the Academy as a lecturer and co-leader of the Computer Aided Design Studio.

He has experience in artistic furniture carpentry, and learned service of professional CNC metalworking machines. He worked as a service engineer at Abplanalp, one of Central Europe's largest suppliers of modern metalworking technology.

Awarded the Acanthus Aureus diploma of the Poznań International Fair for his exhibition projects.

Privately an extreme sports enthusiast and windsurfing instructor. From this sport activity he draws inspiration as a designer.
