Stanisław Figiel

Born in 1956 in Wroclaw. Studied at the Faculty of Interior Design at the State College of Fine Arts (ASP) in Wroclaw. Diploma in 1981 in the Interior Design Studio under Prof. Tadeusz Forowicz, annex in painting under Prof. Józef Halas. Works at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw as a professor, heads the Furniture Design Studio II at the Faculty of Interior Design and Design in the Furniture Department. His creative activity encompasses a number of design studies and realisations in the field of interior architecture, furniture design and pattern-design. He also deals with painting and drawing. He has participated in 16 national and 3 international exhibitions.
