It's done! We're joining hands with the designer who decorated most Polish homes during the communist era, and we're adding a new chapter to the legend of "Kowalski furniture." Thank you, Bogus\u0142awa!<\/p>\n


At the ForForm Gallery (ul. Paderewskiego 8), you can admire Bogus\u0142awa and Czes\u0142aw Kowalski's famous wall unit. It's an original "period" piece. The shelves are filled with relevant reading material, stylish decorations, and information about this piece of furniture, which has become a fixture in most Polish homes for years. We know of homes where it still functions successfully today!<\/p>\n


During Thursday's opening, El\u017cbieta Czy\u017cewska and Daniel Olbrychski played "Kowalski" in Stanis\u0142aw Bareja's "Marriage of Convenience," written by Agnieszka Osiecka. Jacek Kowalski (son of the famous designer couple, an art historian specializing in the Middle Ages, and a bard in love with Sarmatia) told anecdotal stories about his parents' project. It was nostalgic, witty, warm, and familiar...<\/p>\n


For us, this is a wonderful beginning to a new furniture adventure. On June 30th, nowymodel.org invites you to ForForm for the premiere of a chair that was part of the legendary set but never went into production. Soon, you'll be able to sit on it and\u2026 read Jacek Kowalski's new book on Parents and Their Furniture. We'll keep you updated on the details.
