Tomasz Andrzej Rudkiewicz

Industrial designer, co-funder of NC.ART and TAR. Since 1986 Tomek has lived in Finland.
Between 1986-1999 he worked in E&D Design, then the largest design company in Scandinavia.
Member of the Polish Association of Industrial Designers and ORNAMO, The Finnish Association of Designers.
In 2008 he was awarded Designer of the Year title by the Polish Institute of Design.
Lamp design has been Tomek’s passion since the beginning of his career.
He received his first award In 1981 in Hanover for POLAM-WILKASY lamp series, which he designed in partnership with Bartek Pniewski.
In the 1980’s, together with his brother Jakub, he founded and operated MASS, a company designing and producing lighting. Lamps from MASS illuminated thousands of Polish homes offering a colourful and good quality alternative to the grey and deprived communistic market.
